HERD terms
Version 2026-10-19. Plain words; they are the whole agreement between you and us for playing HERD at theherdshow.com.
Who we are
HERD is made and run by "Logicode" d.o.o. Banja Luka, Cerska 20, 78000 Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. You can reach us at hello@theherdshow.com. Paddle sells the subscription on our behalf (see "Paying").
What HERD is
HERD is a game. A show runs every hour: ten questions, each with two answers, and you stay in by predicting which answer the crowd picks. There is no money to win. What you can earn are crowns, ranks, titles and cards inside the game, and none of them has any value outside it. Nothing in the game is sold for chance: no loot boxes, no paid retries, no paid revives, no paid entries. Every player gets five entries a day, free, and training is always free.
HERD's questions are about real life, including sex, politics, religion and drugs. HERD is not meant for children. To play you need to be 16 or older, or play with a parent's permission.
Your account
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email and choose a handle. One person, one account. Your handle is public on the crowns board. You can delete your account at any time from the first screen after the gate; what that deletes, and what we keep for how long, is on the What we store page.
Free days, then a subscription
Your first four days of play are free. From the fifth day you play on, a show needs a subscription: €4.99 a month or €39.99 a year, including VAT where it applies. Training, the crowns board and your profile stay free without one. Prices are shown in the game before you pay and may change for future periods; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
Paying
Payments are taken by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle's checkout shows the price, the renewal date and Paddle's own buyer terms before you confirm, and Paddle sends the receipt. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt; your access then runs to the end of the period you paid for and nothing more is charged.
Refunds are described on the Refunds page.
Fair play
Play as yourself, by hand, with one account. We may remove an account, without refund for the current period, if it uses automation, several accounts, coordinated voting, or anything else that spoils the show for the others. The server decides every result; what you see on your screen is the server's word.
The show may change
We change questions, rules, timing and features as we learn. Shows can be late, cancelled or stopped by a fault; an entry used on a show that never started is not lost. We do not promise that the game will run forever, but if we stop it we will say so in the game well before your paid period ends, and a period you paid for will be refunded in proportion.
Content
The questions, the sentences on cards, the look and the name HERD are ours. You may share your result and your cards anywhere you like. You may not copy the questions or the game as a whole to run elsewhere.
What we are not responsible for
HERD is entertainment. We are not responsible for anything you decide based on a question or a split, for a show you missed because your connection or device failed, or for losses that are not a direct result of a fault on our side. Nothing here limits rights that the law gives you as a consumer and that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we show the new version's date here and, for anything that affects your subscription, in the game before it applies to you. Playing on after that date means you accept the new version.
Law
These terms follow the law of Bosnia and Herzegovina. If you are a consumer in the EU you also keep the protection of the law of the country you live in, and you may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
